I didn’t set out to become a runner. I started with short runs as a way to stay active while recovering from a wrist injury, and somewhere along the way, it became something I genuinely enjoy.
As I’ve built mileage and consistency, I’ve also had to learn how to fuel properly and manage setbacks—especially while navigating PCOS.
Now, I’m training for my first marathon: the 2025 NYC Marathon. It’s a big goal, and I’m excited (and a little nervous) to take it on. Running gives me structure, space to think, and a way to show up for myself—on hard days and good ones.
