About Me

Hi, I’m Anulekha. I started my product career in B2B media, and in 2021, I moved into fintech. Since then, I’ve worked on things like ledgers, reconciliation tooling, and ACH processing—the parts of a platform that don’t usually get much attention until they stop working.

A few years ago, I helped build a bank from scratch after we moved off a BaaS provider. It was messy, complicated, and one of the most meaningful projects I’ve been part of. Now, I lead the Ledger Management team at Wealthsimple.

I care about making things better for the teams who rely on the systems we build, especially Ops. Whether it’s through tooling, documentation, or just making fewer things break, I want the work to feel less painful for the people closest to it.

Outside of work, I run. It started as a way to stay active while recovering from a wrist injury, and somewhere along the way, it became something I genuinely look forward to. I’m training for my first marathon—the 2025 NYC Marathon—and I’m learning how to build endurance, trust my body, and ask for help when I need it.

I also write about the parts of work we don’t always talk about—layoffs, uncertainty, and what it means to stay an IC. You’ll find those reflections in a corner of this site called The Product Pod.
